The Lincoln Township Treasurer has over 20 years of experience in property tax, assessing, and treasury operations, including service with the Midland County Treasurer’s Office and Lincoln Township. With an Accounting degree and certifications as a Michigan Certified Professional Treasurer and Certified Assessing Technician, the Treasurer is committed to ensuring accurate, transparent, and responsible financial management for the community.

Tax Information

Property Tax Information

  • Property tax information becomes available on:
    • July 1 for summer taxes
    • December 1 for winter taxes
  • This information is not received from the county until those dates.
  • For estimated tax amounts, use the Property Tax Payment Estimator.

Escrowed Taxes

  • If your taxes are escrowed, it is your responsibility to inform your escrow company of:
    • The tax amount due
    • The tax due date

Summer Taxes

  • Due Date: September 14
  • Beginning September 15, a 1% monthly interest penalty will be applied
  • Deferments may be available based on income, age, disability, or military service status
    • Forms can be accessed and printed from the link on the left

Winter Taxes

  • Due Date: February 28
  • On March 1, all unpaid taxes are turned over to Midland County
    • Payments after March 1 must be made directly to the county
    • Contact: 989-832-6850 for the correct amount (includes additional penalties)

Miscellaneous

Didn’t receive a tax bill?

  • State law requires property owners to pay property taxes whether or not a bill is received
  • A 1% monthly interest penalty will apply to unpaid balances

Postmarks not accepted

  • Please allow 10 business days for your payment to reach the Treasurer’s office
